Russian national boxing team coach Eduard Kravtsov has reacted to the famous Russian mixed martial arts fighter’s decision Fyodor Emelianenko end his career in MMA.
– My opinion – it’s time for Fedor to finish. Maybe even earlier. Of course, he knows better than us. It’s a sport, martial arts: there are knockout wins and losses.
He’s our great fighter, a great role model – both as an athlete and as a person. We all respect him, love him and bow to Fedor as an athlete, – quotes the words of Kravtsov “Championship”.
On Sunday morning, Fedor Emelianenko lost ahead of schedule to American Ryan Bader in a fight for the heavyweight championship belt at the Bellator 290 tournament. The fight ended in a technical knockout in the first round. After the fight, the 46-year-old Russian announced his decision to end his career.
It was the last fight in Fedor Emelianenko’s career. The Russian has 40 wins and seven losses in MMA. Another fight was declared invalid.
