UFC President Dana White believes that the upcoming lightweight title fight between the Russian Islam Makhachev and australian Alex Volkanovski would become the best seller in the promotion’s history.
Makhachev (23-1), 31, will make his first light defense against Volkanovski (25-1) on February 11 in Perth, Australia. For this fight, featherweight champion Volkanovski will move up to the lightweight division from 65.8kg to 70.3kg.
“It seems to me that it’s just a monstrous fight. I think in history it will become the bestseller, will collect the most purchases. The last UFC record belonged to Conor McGregor , but this fight will top him, White said as quoted by Sportskeeda.
