Ukrainian twice defeated Anthony
WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk believes that the ex-world champion is British Anthony Joshua still has a chance to compete for championship belts.
“Joshua shouldn’t be upset that he lost to me. He just needs to keep working because he is a very cool boxer and a good person. He will have the opportunity to become world heavyweight champion again.”
In August 2022, Joshua lost by split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. This was the second defeat of the Briton Alexander. In the first fight, Usyk won by unanimous decision in September 2021.
Joshua’s next fight will be against American Jermain Franklin. The fight is scheduled to take place in London on April 1st.
