The former world light heavyweight champion is resuming his professional career after a long hiatus.
Alexander Gvozdyk tells why he decided to continue his career after a three-year break. The former WBC world light heavyweight champion misses boxing and wants to make Ukraine proud again on the international stage.
“Keeping myself in shape, visiting the gym, sparring from time to time, I realized that I was “hungry” again. So why not try to come back? Let’s see what happens. I’m motivated and ready to go in battle.
I believe that raising the flag of Ukraine in any corner of the world is, of course, an additional motivation for my people. And, you understand, in these difficult times, this is one of the weighty reasons for my decision to return. Glory to Ukraine!” said Gvozdyk.
It will be remembered that Alexander Gvozdyk will return to the ring on February 11 in a duel against Argentinean Jorge Miranda.
