Ukrainian ex-world champion Vasily Lomachenko said that already began preparations for battle against undisputed lightweight champion Devina Haney.
Lomachenko attended the bantamweight bout between Louis Nery and Azat Hovhannisyan in Pomona (USA) and revealed that he has been in training camp in the US for several weeks and is preparing for the fight with Haney.
“I hope the fight with Haney will take place on May 20, as announced. We are still working on small details, ”said the Ukrainian boxer.
According to unofficial information, the fight will take place on May 20 in Las Vegas. Now the parties are engaged in the last consultations before the presentation of the fight.
Lomachenko defeated American Jemaine Ortiz in his last fight. For the Ukrainian, this was the first and only fight for 10 months.
Last October, Haney defeated George Kambosos again to retain the WBC, WBA Super, IBF and WBO lightweight titles. Devin has repeatedly stated his readiness to face Lomachenko in the ring.
