UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev agreed to a rematch against the Australian Alexander Volkanovski after defending the title.
Makhachev on February 12 in Perth, Australia defeated Volkanovski in a five-round unanimous decision bout.
The Aussie fighter posted a post-fight video in which opponents discuss the new bout.
Volkanovski. Should we do it again?
Makhachev. Certainly.
Volkanovski. Maybe in Abu Dhabi.
Makhachev. Yes.
Volkanovski. My turn to be booed (laughs).
Makhachev in mixed martial arts had 24 wins and one loss.
