Russian Khariton Agrba beat compatriot Avak Uzlyan in the main event of a boxing night in Moscow.
Victory in a 10-round fight for the title of Eurasian Boxing Parliament (EBP) champion in the light-welterweight division went to Agrba by unanimous decision.
Representing Rostov-on-Don, Agrba, 26, won his 9th victory in the professional ring, he won all his fights. Uzlyan, 30, from Dolgoprudny, near Moscow, suffered the first defeat of his career. He has 5 wins and 1 draw.
Vladikavkaz’s Soslan Baev defeated Tyva’s Nachyn Chambaldoo by unanimous decision on points in the co-main event of the night in the fight for the EBP lightweight title. In the fifth round, Nachyn found himself on the canvas, trying to get away from a series of attacks from Baev. The fight went all of the prescribed 10 rounds. Chambaldoo, 28, has 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Baev, 25, now has 7 wins and 1 game lost.
In another co-main event of the evening, in the fight for the vacant belt of the champion of Russia in the weight class up to 52.2 kg, Elena Savelyeva, 37, from Pushkino, defeated Sofia Abrahamyan, 25 years, from Novosibirsk by unanimous decision on points. The fight went all 10 allotted rounds, although Abrahamyan was knocked down in the last. Savelyeva now has 8 wins, 1 loss. Abrahamyan has 6 wins and 2 lost fights.
