The six-round fight in the first heavyweight division ended with the victory of Gadzhimagomedov by unanimous decision.
For Savitsky, 25, the loss was the first in the professional ring. He also has seven wins and a draw. Gadzhimagomedov, 26, a Tokyo Olympics silver medalist and 2019 world champion, won the second fight. He made his professional boxing debut in December 2021 by knocking out Colombian Deibis Berrocal.
