Fedor Emelianenko supported Terentiev’s candidacy for the election of the President of the MMA Union of Russia

As it became known from “”, Fedor Emelianenko ahead of the next unscheduled conference on reports and elections of the MMA Union of Russia, he asked the leaders of the regional federations to support the vice-president of the organization, Andrei Terentyev.

Snap presidential elections are due to take place in the near future, in which Terentiev could become the main competitor to incumbent President Radmir Gabdullin, in office since 2018.

– Fedor Vladimirovich sent a request to the leaders of the federations to support my candidacy for the elections. While everyone calls, everyone supports. There will be an open vote. It seems to me that Radmir will report on the work done, and then Fedor will give a speech. I, too, am always ready to say that all the minuses and pluses are clear to me. Then there will be a vote. We have 81 federations accredited by the MMA Union of Russia. Only four subjects of federations do not.

More than 50% of the representatives must be present at the elections. Each federation can only have one representative. Then – an open vote, people raise signs, for who they are. To win you need to get 51%, Terentyev told .
