Athletistic/ MMA. Surinamese MMA fighter Jairzinho Rozenstruik has slammed the judges for his fight with Russian Alexander Volkov, who stopped the fight in the first round, awarding the Russian fighter a technical knockout victory.

“I’m a bit confused by the way the fight went and disappointed that it was called off. It was definitely an unsettling situation, but I was far from giving up. Someone was lying on the ground the eyes closed? That’s what you call a knockout,” Rozenstruik said.

The fight, which took place as part of the UFC Fight Night 207 tournament, lasted 2 minutes 12 seconds. Meanwhile, Volkov hit Rozenstruik several times in the head, after which the referee decided to stop the fight, despite Jairzinho protesting the early stoppage.

Thus, Rozenstruik suffered his fourth defeat in professional mixed martial arts with 12 victories. Alexander Volkov has 35 wins and 10 losses in professional MMA.
