Another Ukrainian athlete laid down his life defending his homeland from the invasion of Putin’s army.
Ukrainian sport has suffered another irreversible loss. Ukrainian boxer-champion Yaroslav Rudich died from wounds received in fights with the invaders. This was reported in the Chernihiv regional organization of the boxing federation.
The 27-year-old athlete was seriously injured in the front, then he underwent several surgeries. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to save the athlete’s life.
Note that Rudich is the boxing champion of Chernihiv and of the Chernihiv region. But with the start of the Russian invasion in 2014, he left the sport and went to defend Ukraine from invaders.
