Usyk vs Fury due April 29th
Former World Heavyweight Champion Tony Bellew bets on WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO title holder Oleksandr Usyk in a heavyweight unification bout against the WBC champion Tyson Fury.
“I will bet on Oleksandr Usyk. I think he will win. He’s just fantastic. I used to think that Fury would be too big for a Ukrainian, but Usyk is the only person who has the style to beat Tyson.”
“Fury’s style has changed. He used to be a clumsy, elusive, counter-puncher, but now he’s aggressive. This style will be comfortable for Usyk. I think the fight itself will show that.”
Recall that Usyk accepted Fury’s offer to split the fee 70/30 with the condition that the Briton immediately after the fight donate one million pounds to Ukraine. The fight for the title of absolute world champion is planned to be held on April 29 at Wembley Stadium.
The boxers informed the WBA about the reached agreement. The association did not oblige Alexander to defend the belt with challenger Daniel Dubois and gave the teams of both champions time to conclude a contract for the fight.
Fury has already opened his training camp to prepare for the fight with the Ukrainian. Usyk is also actively preparing for the fight.
