Fury’s 70/30 split is only valid for the old fight date
WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion manager Oleksandr Usyk – Egis Klimas stated that the distribution of the fee 70/30 in favor of the WBC title holder Tyson Fury valid only on the date of the fight – April 29.
“We are going to include April 29 in the 70/30 contract. If this fight moves to another date, it will no longer be a 70/30 deal. Then it will be 50/50.
Recall that Usyk accepted Fury’s offer to split the fee 70/30 with the condition that the Briton donate one million pounds to Ukraine immediately after the fight. The fight for the title of absolute world champion is planned to be held on April 29 at Wembley Stadium.
It was also reported that Fury suggested that Usyk not include a rematch clause in the unification fight contract. The Ukrainian urged Tyson to sign the contract in its original form, since it was the British side that offered the opportunity for revenge, and promoter Alexander Krasyuk suggested that Fury was avoiding a fight with Usyk.
Fury has already opened his training camp to prepare for the fight with the Ukrainian. Usyk is also actively preparing for the fight.
