“Despite all the ‘holidays’ of Emelianenko, everything is in order with his analyses” – manager

Administrator Alexandra Emelianenko Nikita Burchak, in a conversation with , spoke about the recovery of a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and reported on the tests.

Emelianenko has signed a contract for a fight under the rules of boxing with Vyacheslav Datsik, scheduled for the fall in Moscow. At the end of May, it became known that Alexander was in a rehabilitation center in Yekaterinburg.

– Alexander, of course, is a unique person. Despite all his ‘holidays’, let’s just say everything is in order with his tests,” Burchak told . – Blood, heart, liver, kidneys, MRI… You don’t even believe it, but some tests have been done several times, the results are the same. It’s both good and bad at the same time. Good, because Sasha is healthy. It is bad that he can perceive this as his conditional immortality. But as the doctors said, the body is such a thing, it holds and resists for a long time, and then at some point everything can fall into the chain all at once. At the moment there is nothing critical.

– That is, there is no threat to disrupt the battle with Datsik?

– There is no threat of disruption. Usually they prepare a fight three months in advance to reach the peak of their form, at the moment it’s almost four months before the fight… It’s even too early to prepare actively. Sasha returns to sports mode, running, general physical preparation, a little iron, light weights.

– Many people from the Russian martial arts oppose this fight, speaking exclusively about the danger to the health of Emelianenko Jr.

– I share the reaction of Russian MMA people and not only, if I was not deeply immersed in the processes, I would say the same. Sasha really wasn’t in the best shape, let’s say, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to fight in that shape. From social networks it is clear that we have already done a lot of work and Emelianenko looks completely different. After recovery, we will start active training, and I am sure that if Alexander approaches the preparation responsibly, he will be in great shape. Everything for this is provided: care, gym, coaches, sparring partners, sports nutrition and even moral support. Moreover, only his desire and responsible approach to business.

Emelianenko, 40, has 28 wins, nine losses and a draw in MMA. The last time the heavyweight fighter fought under MMA rules was in November 2021, when he lost to middleweight Brazilian Marcio Santos. Emelianenko’s last victory in MMA was in July 2018. In boxing, Emelianenko defeated powerlifter Mikhail Koklyaev and blogger Artem Tarasov. At the end of February, Alexander defeated Jeff Monson by unanimous decision in a bare knuckle bout.
