Yesterday, the American became the undisputed world lightweight champion.
Undisputed World Lightweight Champion Devin Haney does not rule out that in the future he will fight with Vasily Lomachenko.
The day before, promoter Bob Arum expressed hope for organizing a duel between an American and a Ukrainian.
“Of course, Lomachenko is on my horizon. Like I said, I’ll fight anyone. I am a real fighter, I will fight with anyone. Whoever it is, they’re all on my target list,” Haney said.
“I am a top fighter and still aiming for the biggest fights. Whoever my next opponent is, we’ll talk to Bob Arum about it and then we’ll see.”
23-year-old Haney became the undisputed lightweight champion of the world after defeating George Kambosos. The American took three championship belts from the Australian, winning by unanimous decision of the judges – 116:112, 116:112 and 118:110.
