Russian Alexander Povetkin stated that he constantly wanted to resume his career, but he feels that his time has already passed.
Povetkin began his professional career on June 11, 2005, before the boxer won the 2004 heavyweight Olympics in Athens. As a professional, Alexander became the WBA champion, boxing for the WBO and IBF titles. Povetkin announced his retirement in June 2021. He has spent 36 wins in the professional ring, lost three times and brought one fight to a draw.
