Usyk would have earned three times less if the fight with Fury took place at Wembley, and not in Saudi Arabia

The Wembley fight would bring Usyk $20 million

Promoter Bob Arum declared WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk should have earned about $20 million for the fight with the WBC champion Tyson Furyif the duel took place April 29 at Wembley Stadium.

At the same time, Arum has information that, according to the deal that Usyk had previously agreed with the Saudis, he was supposed to earn $ 60 million for the fight with Fury.

Earlier, promoter Eddie Hearn claimed that Usyk and Fury would fight the unification fight in Saudi Arabia, despite information that the fight would take place in London.

Recall that the Usyk-Fury fight was supposed to take place on April 29 at London’s Wembley Stadium. However, last week, representatives of the Ukrainian said they had withdrawn from the negotiation process. According to Usyk’s manager, Egis Klimas, Fury’s team demanded too much, no matter how much Usyk compromised.

Promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk said that Usyk would soon begin talks about his next fight. Later, information appeared that Usyk was negotiating a fight with Dubois.
