The Ukrainian boxer spoke about the full invasion of the country by Russian troops.

Vasily Lomachenko spoke about his training during the war in Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian boxer, he cannot fully focus on preparing for the fight because he knows his family is in danger.

“You can’t think about your future when the war comes to your house. You only think about life, your family and the people around you.

You’re just thinking about how you’re going to survive the next day. You can’t think about your work or sports or anything else. You just think about defense,” Lomachenko said at a press conference dedicated to the Haney fight.

The fight between Haney and Lomachenko will take place on May 20 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Earlier, the boxers held their first clash of views.
