2004 Olympic champion, former WBA regular champion and former WBC interim heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin admitted “” that for him the victory of American Kevin Johnson over Russian Vyacheslav Datsik is not a sensation.
Johnson defeated Datsik by majority decision in Moscow on Friday in an exhibition match under boxing rules. Johnson, 43, has 35 wins, 21 losses and two draws in the professional ring.
“Kevin Johnson is no longer in this form … And Vyacheslav did a good job, he fought with dignity,” reports the correspondent in Povetkin’s words.
