American Roy Jones Jr lost to former UFC compatriot Anthony Pettis in a boxing match at a tournament in the United States.
The fight went to eight rounds, with a split decision win by Anthony Pettis.
For Jones Jr., 54, the loss was the 11th of his career. He had his last professional fight in 2018, in October 2020 Jones had an exhibition fight with Mike Tyson, in which the winner was not announced.
Former UFC lightweight champion Pettis made his boxing debut.
In the co-main event of the tournament, former UFC fighters Brazilian Jose Aldo and American Jeremy Stevens met. The fight was also held under boxing rules and ended in a draw.
