former British heavyweight boxing champion Antoine Joshua challenged the owner of the WBC belt to a compatriot Tyson’s Fury .
Joshua defeated American Jermaine Franklin on Saturday in London in a 12-round unanimous decision bout.
– I try to please the fans, I know what they want – and who do they want? They told Fury, didn’t they? The ball is on his side. It would be an honor for me to compete for the WBC world title. I stand here and say it with pride, it would be an honor.
Wherever you are, if you’re listening, you know my promoter, we’ve had discussions before, so let’s move on and hopefully we can get it done as soon as possible. We are not getting any younger, — quotes the words of Joshua Sky Sports.
In the professional ring, 33-year-old Joshua has 25 wins (22 by knockout) with three losses. Joshua lost his WBA Super, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles in September 2021 to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in London. In August 2022, Usyk also won a rematch.
