Joshua’s promoter doesn’t give the Ukrainian any chance
Promoter Eddie Hearn commented on the upcoming fight between the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney and ex-champion in three divisions Vasily Lomachenko.
“I think Haney will win, he will take every round. Now Haney is worth a lot of money, and deservedly so. He’s a great fighter.”
“I think the Lomachenko fight is a great fight for him. But I also feel that he will move up to light welterweight pretty soon after this fight. And there are some great fights for him.”
The Lomachenko-Haney fight will take place on May 20 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden and will be broadcast on PPV on ESPN+.
Lomachenko defeated American Jemaine Ortiz in his last fight. For the Ukrainian, this was the first and only fight for 10 months.
Last October, Haney defeated George Kambosos again to retain the WBC, WBA Super, IBF and WBO lightweight titles.
