The ITF Taekwondo Championship and the Russian Championship will be held in Samara from April 12-16. The competitions, which will be attended by representatives of more than 55 regions of the country, will be organized by the Vladimir Vysotsky Sports Palace.
The competitions qualify for the formation of the Russian national team for the championship and the world championship, which will be held from August 18 to 27 in Astana.
The International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) has not suspended the Russian team from performing under its own flag and anthem on the international stage.
