The WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion shared his thoughts on the scrapped fight.

The fight for the title of absolute champion between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will definitely take place. The Ukrainian boxer himself thinks. According to the owner of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts, the fight planned for April 29 went ahead due to several reasons.

But in the future it is still possible to hold it, but in different conditions.

“The match did not take place for various reasons. We did not agree. Someone did not agree on some conditions that were beneficial or mutually beneficial. There were many things that were not understood. I think , this fight with Tyson Fury will take place, but not as planned on April 29.

I did a lot of work in the camp, improved some of my results in swimming, running, cycling, holding my breath. I’m very glad that I’m here now at home.

I look at it very positively. It means that it is necessary, it means that the Lord stops me somewhere, gives me a little pause so that later I can start better,” said Usyk in an interview with Vladimir Kobelkov on the Kiev cake YouTube channel.

It was previously reported that one of the reasons for the breakup of the fight was Fury’s refusal to donate money to a charitable foundation in Ukraine.
