The Ukrainian ex-world boxing champion believes he can still regain the title.
Oleksandr Gvozdyk is determined to regain the championship title. The athlete spoke about this in an interview with proboxtv.
The Ukrainian boxer shared his plans for the future, saying that he learned from past failures, became stronger and is ready to fight for the title again.
“Sometimes fighters lose, we just have to keep going. I took a long break from competing because I thought I could do something other than boxing, but it didn’t work out.
In Ukraine, the circumstances are such that I have to leave it, but I want to return. Now I am fully recovered and ready to work again.
For me, defeating Beterbiev was a great experience. This, of course, is bad, but it is always useful to learn something new. I think I have drawn the necessary conclusions, and now we will see other things in my performance. I’m going to get my belts,” Gvozdyk said.
Recall that Gvozdik’s next opponent is Richard Bolotnik from Latvia. The fight will take place on May 6 in Guadalajara, Mexico as part of the Saul Alvarez and John Ryder show.
