Athletistic/ MMA. Russian mixed martial arts fighter Ramazan Emeev has shared his thoughts on a possible fight between Chechen-born Swede Khamzat Chimaev and American Colby Covington.

“I think that will be the main event of the night, which means a five round fight. Khamzat has time to prepare, I see Covington as a more convenient opponent than Burns. Colby talks a lot, but you’re a professional fighter – you have to control yourself,” Emeev said. Ramazan added that the outcome of the fight, in his opinion, will be the victory of one of the fighters by unanimous decision of the judges.

Colby Covington last fought in the octagon on March 5, 2022: he defeated American fighter Jorge Masvidal by unanimous decision. Covington’s stats in professional MMA are 17 wins, 3 losses, 0 draws.

Khamzat Chimaev’s last fight took place on April 9, 2022: in this one, the Swede beat the Brazilian Gilbert Burns by unanimous decision. Chimaev has 11 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws in professional mixed martial arts. Chimaev and Covington compete under the auspices of the UFC organization.
