Prominent Ukrainian boxers continue to support representatives of the Moscow church.
Another post in support of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate from the former world champion in three weight categories.
This time, Vasily Lomachenko wrote words of praise to its leader. On his Instagram page, which continues to be closed to residents of Ukraine, the boxer wrote the following:
“His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine is our pillar. Peace to all! God bless!”

Interestingly, one of those who appreciated what was written was another famous Ukrainian boxer, Oleksandr Usyk. The WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight title holders liked Lomachenko’s post.
Earlier, Lomachenko published a video reprimanding Zelensky about the alleged oppression of the UOC-MP in Ukraine.
