Oleksandr Gvozdyk may change weight category and move up to cruiserweight. The ex-world champion himself spoke about it.
At the same time, the Ukrainian boxer said that now he has no weight problems in his native light heavyweight category.
“Maybe one day it will happen. However, right now I’m comfortable doing 175 pounds, we’ll see. Like I said when I retired, never say no. to cruisers. But now I still have no problems doing of 175 pounds,” Gvozdyk said in an interview with ONE LEFT.
Recall that Gvozdik’s next opponent is Richard Bolotnik from Latvia. The fight will take place on May 6 in Guadalajara, Mexico as part of the Saul Alvarez and John Ryder show.
