russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev will hold a title fight in the UFC if he defeats the United States Rep Anthony Smith . This was announced by the Head of Promotion Dana White in conversation with Spinnin Backfist.
“Yes, the winner of this fight will fight for the title,” White confirmed.
Ankalaev and Smith will fight in the light heavyweight division at UFC 277 in Dallas, scheduled for July 30.
Ankalaev, 30, has 17 MMA wins and one loss. Because of Smith, 33, 36 wins and 16 losses.
Brazilian Glover Teixeira is the current holder of the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.
