A prominent Ukrainian boxer has spoken out about helping the country during a massive Russian invasion.
Denis Berinchyk has been helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the first days of the war and continues to do so. The Ukrainian boxer himself spoke about it. According to him, he saved money to buy a piece of land, but he gave all the army for the sake of victory.
To help the military, the athlete spent almost all of his salary earned for the last battle.
“At the beginning of the war, the country was in danger, everyone quit their jobs and joined the army, started helping, volunteering. Where the battle was going on, the men told me they needed me in the ring: ” Berinchik, you’ve killed the Russians well , now let’s go, so go.” Then the logistics lined up, so now I’m fighting for money: generators, mavics, help for the dead, someone to repair, I know someone. individual.
And so, I gave almost the entire payment from the fight with Mendy to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And before the battle, I gave everything to the war. I wanted to buy land for myself, but I gave all the money for the sake of success. There are teams I support. Today I went to the front line as a volunteer,” Sportarena quoted Berinchyk as saying.
Earlier, Berinchyk said who he will face next in the ring.
