Glover Teixeira broke the light heavyweight limits and confirmed the clash with Jiri Prochazka for the main event of UFC 275, scheduled for this Saturday, 11th, at 23:00 (Brasília time), in Singapore. After the match, the Czech challenger provoked the Brazilian champion and stated that he already feels like the next champion of the category.
Despite the respectful look, the Brazilian did not miss the statement and stated that he will continue to own the light heavyweight belt: “I am always ready for war. It’s always a war in the octagon and I’m prepared. He won’t take my belt, man.”said in an interview with journalists.

I spoke to Jiri (Prochazka) earlier: from 2009 to 2020, either me or Jon Jones had the belt. It was six or seven years with Jon Jones and four years with me. Nobody else touched the belt. Now they are passing to each other. There is no Jon Jones or Daniel Cormier in that weight division with Glover Teixeira right now.”said Cormier in an interview with “MMA Junkie”.
