The American did not make it into the top ten best boxers
Undisputed World Lightweight Champion Devin Haney reacted to the new ranking of the best boxers outside the weight category from The Ring magazine.
The American did not make it into the top ten of the publication after he unified all the championship titles thanks to the victory over George Kambosos.
At the same time, the seventh place in the ranking is occupied by a Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko, who last fought in December.
“Loma isn’t even fighting right now. And the undisputed champion in his weight category doesn’t even get into the rankings?” Haney wrote.
The second place in the ranking is occupied by Oleksandr Usyk. The top ten was headed by the Japanese Naoya Inoue, the unified world champion in the bantamweight division.
