The Ukrainian boxer’s promoter spoke about the danger in mass sporting events during the war.

Oleksandr Usyk will not fight in Ukraine as long as the Kremlin’s massive invasion of the country continues. This was said by the promoter of the Ukrainian world champion Alexander Krasyuk.

According to the functionary, the holding of such a mass sporting event in the state now seems dangerous.

“In Kiev, a boxing night was held by the promotional company Top Boxing Generation, owned by Vlad Eliseev. This is our matchmaker, who helps us a lot, our partner and friend. With Sparta promotion Boxing, they used their hall to organize fights for boxers who are idle because of the wars in Ukraine. Unfortunately, it’s a non-public event, so you can’t sell tickets, TV rights and a sufficient number of sponsorship contracts.

If we are talking about arranging a match with Usyk, for example, at the Olympic Stadium, then it is very dangerous, because you cannot hide it or keep it a secret. This event must be public. Our enemy will use this opportunity to destroy the event and cause destruction. They do it all the time,” Krasyuk said in an interview with the Bokserorg YouTube channel.

Earlier, Krasyuk said, where there were difficulties in the negotiations about the Usyk-Fury fight.
