The fight could take place on December 17
WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury may postpone the end of his career until the duel against the winner of the rematch Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
The Gypsy King is in talks with Saudi Arabian organizers over a possible bout that could take place on December 17 ahead of the World Cup final in Qatar.
Fury previously announced his retirement from boxing following his win over Dillian Whyte in April. Subsequently, Tyson said that even a possible fight against Usyk for the title of absolute world champion would not make him return to the ring.
At the same time, promoter Bob Arum reported that Fury might change his mind after the rematch between Usyk and Joshua takes place.
The date of the rematch between the Ukrainian and the British will be announced next week. The fight is expected to take place on August 13 or 20 in Saudi Arabia.
