More than 13,000 tickets have been sold for the scheduled fight between Devin and Vasily
Undisputed World Lightweight Champion Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) commented on the upcoming fight with the former champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs).
“Dirty fight. Lomachenko is a dirty fighter. Don’t get me wrong, he has great skills, but mostly Loma relies on dirty tactics.”
“Let him show a fair fight! I know that he wants to use dirty tactics, but this will not work, ”Haney emphasized.
The fight between Lomachenko and Haney will take place on May 20 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden and will be broadcast on the PPV system on ESPN+.
More than 13,000 tickets have been sold for the planned duel between Devin and Vasily. At the same time, the central sectors and seats near the ringside were practically bought out: tickets there were sold at prices ranging from 304 to 2,000 dollars.
There are no plans to broadcast the fight in Ukraine yet. The MEGOGO service, which previously broadcast Lomachenko’s fights, and also acts as the official broadcaster of Oleksandr Usyk’s fights, refused to show the Lomachenko-Haney fight.
Vasily in his last fight defeated the American Jemaine Ortiz. For the Ukrainian, this was the first and only fight for 10 months.
Last October, Haney defeated George Kambosos again to retain the WBC, WBA Super, IBF and WBO lightweight titles.
