russian boxer Alexei Dronov was beaten by an Olympic bronze medalist Kamshybek Kunkabaev of Kazakhstan in the round of 16 of the world championship in Tashkent.
The fight in the weight category above 92 kg ended with the victory of Kunkabaev by a separate decision of the judges.
Dronov is the first Russian boxer to complete the tournament.
According to the decision of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Russian athletes perform at the world championships in the capital of Uzbekistan with national attributes.
