Russian fighter Ivan Shtyrkov on May 13 in Yekaterinburg at the RCC 15 tournament, instead of a duel with compatriot Viktor Nemkov, will fight with Belarusian Petr Romankevich. This was reported to in the organisation’s press service.
The meeting between Shtyrkov and Nemkov was supposed to take place under MMA rules, but Nemkov suffered a serious knee injury. The fight with Romankevich will take place according to the rules of kickboxing. Combat formula: three rounds of three minutes, weight category – 100.5 kg. Shtyrkov will perform for the first time in kickboxing, previously an athlete specializing in MMA tried his hand at boxing.
Romankevich knocked out former Glory champion Saulo Cavalari in his last fight.
The fight between Shtyrkov and Nemkov has been postponed to a later date.
