Shtyrkov’s fight with Viktor Nemkov, according to the rules of MMA, was supposed to lead the RCC 15 tournament, which will be held on May 13 in Yekaterinburg. Nemkov was injured and Romankevich will replace the fight. The fight will be held according to the rules of kickboxing in the weight category up to 100.5 kg.

The deadlines are short, today we worked a lot and it turned out to be impossible to find a worthy replacement for Ivan Shtyrkov in MMA. But we decided to change the format of the fight. We decided to please kickboxing fans with a cool duel: the winner of the World Cup, European champion in K-1 Petr Romankevich against Ivan Shtyrkov, who took a confident swing in MMA. The most interesting thing is that Ivan is acting like an underdog in this fight. Petr Romankevich is an accomplished kickboxing star. I think it’s a new challenge for Ivan, and I’m surprised that Ivan himself has accepted.
