The fight in the weight category up to 92 kg ended with the victory of Gadzhimagomedov by unanimous decision of the judges.
Earlier, on the fifth day of competition, Russian Eduard Savvin beat El Salvador’s Marvin Martinez Hernandez ahead of schedule and reached the 1/8 finals of the tournament. Later on Friday, Imam Khataev (up to 80 kg) will enter the ring.
According to the decision of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Russian athletes perform at the world championships in the capital of Uzbekistan with national attributes.
