Welterweight champion Aljamain Sterling and former bi-divisional champion Henry Cejudo were on the roster for the weigh-in to face in the main event of the card. The co-main event will feature Gilbert Burns and Belal Muhammad. Rafael Estevam did not appear on the scales during the official weigh-in. UFC representatives announced that his fight with Zhalgas Zhumagulov was canceled. Joseph Holmes missed the weight limit by 1.36 kg. He will be fined 20% of his fees.
