Senchenko: If Derevyanchenko regains his previous form, he will have enough chances to defeat Munguia

The coach notes the great experience of the Ukrainian boxer

Former world champion and current coach Vyacheslav Senchenko commented on the upcoming fight of the Ukrainian boxer Sergei Derevyanchenko (14-4, 10 KOs) and mexican Jaime Munguii (41-0, 33 KOs).

“Derevyanchenko has a lot of experience in serious fights, and I think this will help him defeat Munguia. Sergei is a trained fighter with a powerful punch. He has many qualities that can help him win this fight. The main thing is that he gets into great shape, so that we can see him in the form in which he fought with Golovkin and Jacobs, then it will be a very interesting fight, and he will have many chances to win.”

Sergey Derevyanchenko will fight Munguia on June 10th. The fight is scheduled in California (USA) and will take place at the Toyota Arena. The entire evening of boxing will be broadcast by the DAZN streaming service.

In the fall of 2021, Derevyanchenko planned a fight with Munguia and had to hold an auction. But the Mexican team refused to fight.

In the last fight in the summer of 2022, Derevyanchenko won on points against American Joshua Conley. By defeating Conley, Sergey interrupted a series of three defeats in a row. Before that, the Ukrainian lost to Gennady Golovkin, Jermall Charlo and Carlos Adames.
