The Russian Judo Federation has announced the composition of the national team for the upcoming world championships in Qatar.
In men, Abrek Naguchev, Abuladze (up to 66 kg), Mahmadbek Mahmadbekov (up to 73 kg), Mikhail Igolnikov, Mansur Lorsanov (up to 90 kg), Niyaz Ilyasov, Arman Adamyan (up to 100 kg), Tamerlan Bashaev and Inal Tasoev (over 100 kg).
The women will compete Sabina Gilyazova (up to 48 kg), Alesya Kuznetsova (up to 52 kg), Daria Kurbonmamadova, Ksenia Galitskaya (up to 57 kg), Kamila Badurova (up to 63 kg), Madina Taimazova (up ‘to 70 kg), Alexandra Babintseva (up to 78 kg) and Daria Vladimirova (over 78 kg).
The World Cup in Qatar will take place from May 7 to 14. Previously, the International Judo Federation (IJF) allowed individual athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete in the World Championships in Doha under a neutral flag.
