A boxing tournament was held in Zapopan (Mexico), the main event of which Saul Alvarez beat Britain’s John Ryder in a super middleweight bout.
The fight went all 12 rounds and ended with Alvarez winning by unanimous decision.
Now the Mexican has 59 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws. Ryder lost his sixth career fight with 32 wins.
Alvarez has defended the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring titles, he remains the undisputed champion in this weight class.
