The second victory of the Ukrainian after the resumption of his career
Former World Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Gvozdyk defeated a Latvian boxer by knockout Richards Bolotniks.
The fight took place on the undercard of the fight between Saul Alvarez and John Ryder in Guadalajara (Mexico). In the 6th round, Gvozdyk struck the opponent with a powerful right hook, he went into a deaf defense and the Ukrainian began finishing until Bolotniks knelt down. The referee stopped the fight and awarded Gvozdyk an early victory.
This is the 19th victory of Gvozdik in the pro ring (15 ahead of time) and the 2nd after the resumption of his career.
Recall that Gvozdyk defeated the Mexican Josué Obando on points in his first fight after a long pause.
