On Saturday, Cejudo, 36, lost a split decision to his compatriot Aljamain Sterling and failed to win the UFC bantamweight title. The fight took place as part of the UFC 288 tournament in Newark (USA). It was Cejudo’s first MMA fight since 2020.
“This may be the last time you see me in the octagon,” journalist Ariel Helwani quotes the American fighter’s comments on social media.
Cejudo has 16 wins and 3 losses and previously held the UFC bantamweight and flyweight titles.
Live broadcasts of mixed martial arts tournaments can be seen on the federal channel, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
