The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 13 or 20 in Saudi Arabia.
Bellator welterweight Michael Page (21-2) commented on the upcoming fight between the former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) and WBA/WBO/IBF heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs).
“Everything will depend on Joshua’s team. If they try to repeat the scenario of the first battle, they are again close to defeat. Usyk is a more experienced opponent.
“Joshua needs adjustments in his fight. He needs to be aggressive against Usyk. I think that Joshua should repeat the strategy of Derek Chisora in a fight with a Ukrainian.”
“Usyk is a very clever boxer. Standing in place and outboxing Usyk will not work. Joshua needs to hit harder and more accurately to win.”
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 13 or 20 in Saudi Arabia. The fight date should be announced early next week. The rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming platform and will be broadcast on the PPV (pay-per-view) system.
Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to win the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight championship belts.
