AMC Fight Nights Welterweight Champion Dmitry Bikrev told he was disappointed with the American’s actions Henry Cejudo in a duel with a compatriot Aljamain Sterling at UFC 288.
Reigning UFC bantamweight champion Sterling defeated Cejudo by split decision on Saturday, his third successful belt defense. The former two-weight champion in the Cejudo organization has returned to MMA after a three-year hiatus.
– Cejudo disappointed me a lot, he didn’t show anything at all. Sterling is handsome. He took the first four rounds, and the fifth, the only one, he would give to Cejudo. Kind of a slow performance from Cejudo, I expected something else from him – a different fight. Before the fight, he walked with his head held high. Apparently underrated Sterling. And in the end something went wrong,” Bikrev told .
For Cejudo, this is the third loss in MMA with 16 wins, Sterling has 23 wins and three losses.
