– I still have a cut from the first fight, so it is very important to maintain health, to approach the next fights without injury. The day after tomorrow I will fight in the quarter-finals with an experienced opponent, I have to give 100%. The opponent moved a lot, and I tried not to fight. I had already gotten used to the world championships, if during the first fight there was a lot of confusion, today I was more “seeing”.
– Can we say that we argued in class?
“Yes, you can say that. All rivals are preparing, improving and trying to work in a new way, in no case should we relax,” the correspondent quoted Khudoyan as saying.
On Tuesday, Igor Sviridchenkov (up to 71 kg), Imam Khataev (up to 80 kg, both in the afternoon), Dmitry Dvali (up to 54 kg), Tarkhan Idigov (up to 67 kg) and Pavel Sosulin will have their fights in the 1/8 finals (up to 75 kg, three – evening session).
