Russian judokas did not win medals on the third day of the World Championships in Doha.
Mahmadbek Mahmadbekov , performing in the weight category up to 73 kg, lost in the third round to the representative of Uzbekistan Murodjon Yuldoshev. In the first and second rounds, the Russian defeated Kazakh Zhansai Smagulov and Belgian Abdul-Malik Umaev respectively.
Daria Kurbonmamadova at the start of the tournament up to 57 kg lost to Britain’s Nekoda Smith-Davies, Ksenia Galitskaya lost to Japan’s Haruka Funakubo in the second fight.
Russian athletes participate in the World Championships in the capital of Qatar in a neutral status. The tournament will run until May 14.
