Athletistic/Boxing. Russian boxer Imam Khataev completed his performance at the World Boxing Championship in Tashkent, becoming a bronze medalist in the weight category up to 80 kg. In the semifinals, he was beaten by the representative of Kazakhstan Nurbek Oralbay.
The 2023 World Boxing Championship runs from May 1-14 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Russian boxers perform at the tournament with national symbols.
Previously, some countries announced a boycott of the World Boxing Championship, as well as the Women’s World Championship, which has already taken place, due to the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes.
